So here is a few tips to help you get ready for the second biggest time of the year for us here at behrend benefitting thon.

Guide to Sleep: It’s time to start getting those 8 hours of sleep and keeping a steady sleep schedule. It might seem hard now with exams and everything but trust me it's going to pay off in the long run! Don't forget the day before 24 FAC get as much sleep as possible because you're going to be up for quite some time!

Guide to Nutrition: This might be hard to hear but it's time to start cutting out all of the junk foods, all of those sugary treats are just going to make you crash and burn during 24 FAC so it's better to quit those habits now to prepare your body. Same with caffeine, you are not going to be drinking caffeine (yes that means coffee and soda) the day of 24 FAC so it's time to get your body less dependant on it now! The earlier you start it the easier it will be! Stay hydrated the right way with taking in a lot of water. This also means cut that alcohol now, it's just going to further dehydrate you, get it out of your system NOW!

Guide to Classes: As we will be nearing finals and many professors are finishing up project times it's time to start making sure you are keeping up with all your classwork. Try getting ahead now ver break so you don't have to stress during 24 FAC.

Guide to Exercise: the best way to prepare for 24 FAC exercise wise it to make sure you work out your whole body. Build your endurance and strength. Don’t forget to stretch before and during 24 FAC it's super important.

Don't forget, cut your toenails the week before and don't pop any blisters it will just cause you more pain.

During 24 FAC:

Guide to staying hydrated: alternate between water and Gatorade, so you are staying hydrated while replenishing your electrolytes! Don't even think about getting soda or coffee.

Guide to your hurting feet: utilize your tennis ball, believe it or not running your feet along the tennis ball really is a life saver! Keep moving! It will honestly make your feet feel better then if you are just standing still. Utilize the hours that cater to your feet! They are there for a reason!! Swap out shoes and socks it really will help!
